I opened Troutman Photography in 2009 and moved my professional studio to the heart of downtown Albany in 2015. I specialize in creating custom artwork through boudoir sessions, senior pictures, family portraits, and professional headshots. While my studio at 222 SW 1st Ave is my home base for year-round sessions, I also provide on-location services throughout Western Oregon and am available for travel to worldwide destinations.

Daniel Troutman

My journey behind the camera began in 1999 as a professional travel photographer, where I spent my early career building an image library of our country's most iconic destinations. After branching out on my own, I began supplying imagery to some of the world’s largest stock agencies. You may have seen my work featured by Newsweek, VH1 Music Television, The Food Network, and Best Western Hotels, among many others.

When I’m not running my studio in downtown Albany, my most important roles are being a father of three amazing humans and one cantankerous dog. In those rare moments of free time, I actually enjoy stepping in front of the lens as an actor for network television and film. It’s a great way to remind myself exactly what it feels like to be on your side of the camera, which helps me make your session even more comfortable and fun.
